In 1 ml of suspension:

• Colistin sulfate: 1,000,000 IU
• Spectinomycin Hydrochloride: 2 mg
• Solvent q.s.: 1 ml

Used to treat gastrointestinal infections in piglets, goat kids, and lambs, such as enteritis, diarrhea, E. coli infections, and salmonellosis.

• Colistin is a bactericidal antibiotic belonging to the polymyxin group, effective against Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Haemophilus spp., and Salmonella spp.. Colistin is almost not absorbed when administered orally.
• Spectinomycin acts as a bacteriostatic or bactericidal agent depending on the dose, mainly effective against Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella spp., and Mycoplasma. When administered orally, only 7% of the dose is absorbed, but the remaining spectinomycin in the intestine has an antibacterial effect. The absorbed portion is excreted in its original form via urine. Spectinomycin is highly effective against E. coli and Salmonella.
• The combination of colistin and spectinomycin results in synergistic effects.

Administer orally for 3 consecutive days:

• Goat kids and lambs: 1 ml per 2.5–3 kg body weight, twice daily.
• Piglets (1–3 kg): 1 ml per piglet per day.
• Piglets (3–5 kg): 2 ml per piglet per day.
  Note: One pump is equivalent to 1 ml.

OVERDOSE:
No signs of overdose as the medication is minimally absorbed.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

• For meat consumption: 7 days.

Antagonism may occur when spectinomycin is used concurrently with chloramphenicol or tetracycline.

• Do not use in animals hypersensitive to colistin and/or spectinomycin.
• Not for use in animals with a history of kidney dysfunction.
• Do not use in animals reliant on gut microbiota for digestion.

No side effects are observed when used at the recommended dose.
