Pharmacological properties

L-Arginine participates in the urea cycle in the liver, helping regulate blood ammonia levels and synthesizing proteins. It is used in treating liver dysfunctions.

Vitamin C is involved in the metabolism of phenylalanine, tyrosine, folic acid, norepinephrine, histamine, iron, and various drug-metabolizing enzymes. It supports carbohydrate utilization, lipid and protein synthesis, immune function, resistance to infection, vascular integrity, and cellular respiration.

Thiamine (Vitamin B1) combines with ATP to form thiamine diphosphate (thiamine pyrophosphate), which plays a role in carbohydrate metabolism without affecting blood glucose levels. Thiamine is metabolized in the liver and excreted by the kidneys as metabolites.

Riboflavin converts into two coenzymes, flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), necessary for tissue respiration, pyridoxine activation, tryptophan-to-niacin conversion, and red blood cell integrity.

Nicotinamide is converted to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) in the body. These coenzymes are essential for metabolism, catalyzing oxidation-reduction reactions required for cellular respiration, glycogen breakdown, and lipid metabolism.

Usage

Administer intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or via slow intravenous injection once daily until recovery.

Cattle, buffalo: 0.5–1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Pigs, calves, goats, sheep: 1–2 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Dogs, cats, poultry: 3–4 ml per 10 kg body weight.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

Not required.

Recommendations

Concurrent use with macrolides or tetracyclines may result in antagonism.

Enrofloxacin may interfere with the metabolism of Theophylline, leading to increased plasma levels.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals with kidney dysfunction.

Side effects

No adverse effects at the recommended dosage. However, hypersensitivity reactions may occur after injection due to the effects of Thiamine.

Expiry date

2 years from the manufacturing date.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C, away from direct sunlight.
