Ingredient

Each 1 ml contains:

Tildipirosin: 80 mg
Solvent: up to 1 ml (Citric acid monohydrate, Propylene glycol, distilled water)

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics:
Tildipirosin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic from the Macrolide group. It acts on the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, inhibiting protein synthesis. Its efficacy is time-dependent. Tildipirosin is highly effective against pathogens causing respiratory diseases in cattle, such as Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni.

Pharmacokinetics:
In calves, after subcutaneous injection at a dose of 4 mg/kg body weight:

Rapid absorption with Cmax = 0.7 μg/ml and Tmax = 23 minutes.
Half-life (t ½): 210 hours (approximately 9 days).
Bioavailability: 78.9%.
High concentration in lung tissues and bronchial fluids.
Excretion: 24% through urine and 40% through feces.

Usage

Administer a single dose subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

General dosage: 1 ml per 45 kg body weight (4 mg/kg). Do not inject more than 10 ml per site.

OVERDOSE:
In calves, doses up to 5 times the recommended level (5X) for 7 days were well-tolerated. Swelling and inflammation at the injection site may occur in some animals, but these symptoms resolve within a few days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

For meat consumption: 47 days.
For milk production: Not for use in lactating dairy cows during the milk production period.

PRECAUTIONS:
Avoid direct contact of the drug with skin and eyes.

USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
The safety of this drug in pregnant animals has not been fully established. However, laboratory studies show no adverse effects on livestock reproductive systems. Consult a veterinarian or carefully weigh the benefits and risks before use.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Do not use concurrently with antibiotics that share the same mechanism of action, such as Macrolides and Lincosamides.

Contraindications

Not for use in pigs, chickens, or turkeys.
Do not use in animals with a history of hypersensitivity to Macrolides or excipients.

Side effects

Subcutaneous injection may cause pain, swelling, and localized inflammation at the injection site in some animals.

Expiry date

Product: 24 months.
Opened vial: 28 days after the first dose is withdrawn.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Avoid direct sunlight.
